6 Pier Maltings is a five-star luxury holiday cottage situated on the waterfront in Berwick-upon-Tweed. It is part of a conversion of a harbour-side maltings, and has wonderful sea views to Bamburgh and Holy Island from every window. You can lie in bed and watch the tide come in!

The house is very spacious, with a superb 30-foot loft-style living area and glass-sided mezzanine.  It is luxuriously furnished, with deep armchairs and sofa and super comfy beds. There is a home cinema with a 40-inch screen, and free broadband, with a laptop for guests’ use.

Owners Michael and Katharine pay special personal attention to all the important details to ensure that you have a perfect holiday.

Berwick upon Tweed

From the house, it is just a short stroll to the beach and Berwick pier, or
to the famous Elizabethan walls that encircle the town.  The town centre
is in easy walking distance, with an interesting range of coffee houses, restaurants and little shops. There are good local services, including a leisure centre and swimming pool and a lively theatre/cinema. There are excellent rail links to Edinburgh and Newcastle.

Berwick is ideally placed for exploring the great beaches and castles of the Heritage Coast to the south and the charming Border towns of Kelso, Melrose and Jedburgh to the west. See Local area.
