Welcome to St Andrew’s House! This delightful holiday cottage is a converted Victorian schoolhouse, located on Berwick’s historic town walls. It has a stunning interior, with a superb 30-foot galleried living room lit by five large schoolhouse windows. It is a wonderful space to relax in with friends and family, and enjoy the cosy wood-burning stove.

The rest of the accommodation includes two good sized bedrooms (a double and a twin) a bathroom, a shower and utility room, and a well-appointed fitted kitchen.

The cottage has a tranquil and secluded location that combines the best of town and country. From the house you can walk all the way round Berwick’s town walls – there are fantastic views along the Heritage Coast and up the Tweed estuary, and the beach is close by. Yet the centre of town is also just a few minutes walk away, with lots to explore and a great range of shops, restaurants, galleries and theatre.

Excellent public transport links close by make the house a great base for exploring the area. Holy Island is a short drive away, and the wonderful beaches of the Heritage Coast. Newcastle and Edinburgh are just 45 minutes away by train, and the Scottish Borders are close by.
